The DIWA Story

Woman Create has been creating bold and vibrant handmade earrings since 2018.

Born from the desire of wanting to wear big, unique, and artisanal earrings as a means to uplift the spirit and reject homogeneous wear, DIWA’s purpose is to nurture the essence of our inner diva – she who is free, fearless, and powerful in her own skin. 

Complementing her art practice, which is rooted in feminist inquiry, DIWA became a space for experimentation with material and fashion possibilities, transforming art into wearable pieces as a way to empower fellow Filipina women. From inspirations lifted from Western art history to the crazy, fun Barbie earring collection, and now, to present-day’s tropical and floral obsessions, the process of each piece throughout the years continues to contemplate the feminine as nonconforming, often hidden within potential wearers. It seeks to awaken that essence through each piece DIWA offers.  

The philosophy of DIWA is centered on making women feel good about themselves and embodied in her power every day through intentionally designed, slow-made statement accessories.

DIWA is a reminder that women deserve to feel powerful about themselves, and that through fashion, we find a way to belong, to become, and to come home to our own radical becoming.
